CORE PLUS CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY B - 928211

The successful Core Plus Construction Technology student will be prepared for a variety of career opportunities throughout the concrete and construction industries. Through hands-on, career focused lessons and skill development, this course introduces students to the basics of concrete work and its importance and application as a construction material. Students will gain knowledge and skills that may be included in the examinations for Concrete Field-Testing Technician Certification program. This course was developed through a partnership with industry professionals and will provide students the opportunity to learn more about careers in construction as well as structural and civil engineering. Graduation Credit: CTE. Dual College Credit: CPTC FSME101 3 credits; BTC SHME101 3 credits.
