Sports Medicine I develops understanding for students in the health sciences using project-and inquiry-based methods to examine the impact of physical activity on human anatomy. Medical case studies will be used to learn the complexities involved in discerning, diagnosing, and treating specific ailments and injuries. Course includes instruction in first aid and emergency care, anatomy and physiology, and applicable professional standards and regulations.
