Students are required to participate in an after-school internship. Sports Medicine II prepares students to work under the supervision of physicians to prevent and treat various sports injuries and associated conditions. Course includes instruction in the identification, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries; advanced emergency care; therapeutic exercise; exercise physiology; and personal and community health. Students will engage in a practicum experience and apply their skill and understanding in an authentic, therapeutic environment. Students are required to participate in an after-school internship.
