Interested in a career in engineering and design? This exciting course will explore a broad range of engineering topics and the world of creative engineering product design through series of hands-on projects within all fields of engineering and designing. Students will have an opportunity to investigate engineering and high-tech careers as well as to develop skills and understanding of engineering principles and design concepts. Student will be completing an actual design challenges using CAD modeling software, 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machines to design solutions that solve engineering problems of today. This course can lead to Design Technology II, Core Plus Construction Foundations (CPHS), or Aerospace Engineering and Manufacturing (LHS). Graduation Credit: CTE or Science Lab
