Educational Leadership prepares student mentors to support incoming and current 9th grade students with the transition to high school. Students learn the knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective mentor. Course content includes: communication skills, listening techniques, public speaking, understanding others, leadership skills, facilitation techniques and encouraging and empowering others. Students learn life-long lessons as they demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for careers in the fields of teaching and recreation. Credit for Graduation: CTE
