This course is designed to introduce basic guitar skills to students from a variety of musical backgrounds. The course will teach guitar methods, music theory, and application to general playing. Parts and maintenance of the guitar will be introduced as well as an introduction to chords, chords progressions, and reading music. Students will learn to read standard music notation.
