AP Music Theory

AP Music Theory courses are designed to be the equivalent of a first-year music theory college course as specified by the College Board. AP Music Theory develops students' understanding of musical structure and compositional procedures. Course goals may include helping students develop their solo singing ability and emphasize one or several ensemble literature styles.
