Utilizing the latest language learning software and interactive online resources, students may pursue a world language of their choosing at the beginning or advanced levels, such as American Sign Language, Chinese, French, Spanish, German, or Japanese. In a language lab format, this course offers skill-building in speaking, reading, writing and listening through engaging online dialogues, multimedia resources, and exploration of literature and art in the target language. Assessment in this course will be based on a combination of online quizzes, tests, written assignments, and active online participation. Student progress will be closely monitored and feedback will be provided by both the online and in-class instructors. No fee is required.
